Here it goes!

I would have never in a million years thought of doing a blog. I never cared to try and have one. Maybe I have always thought of it as a waste of time. (I also know I can be behind the times!) It was until I read what a friend of mine wrote on her blog that made me think that maybe this would be a great idea. She had mentioned maybe using it as a journal and printing it from time to time! I thought that for me, who is bad a keeping a journal, this would be a great way to look back on our family! So this is the start of our family journal. I will try to copy this often and place it in a folder. I'm not sure how to do this, not at all sure how to put pictures up, or if I will be able to update it often, but I hope my children will be able to look back on this and have a great piece of family history. So here I go with modern technology! WooHoo!

    Yay! I'm so excited. I personally love blogging for several reasons: it's an outlet, it's journaling, it's forever (unless something happens to the internet), it's great for family members that live far away, and I have reconnected with loads of friends through blogs. If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to ask, I'm by no means a pro, but I know a bit and I've been doing it for awhile.

    I love blogging too. You will get the hang of it in no time, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask!
    I try to copy and past my blog into a word folder every couple of months. Welcome to the Blogosphere!

    that's why i started blogging and not beboing was so that i could print it as use it as a journal but i have yet to print anything out...i am such a slacker

    Glad you guys have a blog now! I am horrible at writing in my journal too so I print our entries out and keep them in a binder. Make sure you let my mom know about your blog, she will check it all the time!!

    I am not very good at keeping a journal either, so this is also my way of keeping track of life as it races by. Ours is namyersfam.blogspot.com.

    blurb.com is a website that will make your blog into a book (for a small price of course) but could be worth it! thanks for finally making one. be sure to update it often

    Hello there, sweetie! I don't know if that was me you were talking about but that is EXACTLY why I started blogging. A friend told me that you can pay a company to turn your blog unto books....so walla, I have my scrapbook and journal in one! I'm really excited to keep up with you better since I'm terrible about facebook now. Love ya!
