First day of Gymnastics!

Emma started gymnastic today and loved it! She has three other girls in her class. It was nice to see that one of the girls go to our ward! Emma really liked her coach. Her favorite thing they did today was doing flips on the uneven bars! She can't wait to go again! I really enjoyed watching her do something she truly put her heart into.

Life on the planes

Yesterday I took the kids to the local airshow here in Rexburg. They have it every year about this time. Trevor had the car, and the sky was dark like it would storm at any time, but Chandler really wanted to go. So we packed a lunch, walked to the park, and watched the show! It never rained, and it was great not having to try and see the show through the sun!
This was a plane that did lots of tricks! It blew out orange smoke and did flips through out the sky! Chandler really liked this one!

Chandler really enjoyed the show and sat with me the whole time, but the other two got bored and decided to play on the playground:) We were glad we went!
Also a great accomplishment for our family...Todd went to nursery(the whole time) without us for the first time today! What a wonderful fathers day gift for Trevor! Great news, just had to share!

Yucky Mud!

So I went to the playground behind where we live to watch the kids while they were playing and this is what I found!!! What a mess! We have had so much rain in the past couple of weeks, so the mud is in abundance! At first I was upset, but then I remembered you only get to be a kid once, got over it and pulled out the camera!Nice "innocent" smile!

He would not look at the camera!

Anyone want a hug?? After scrubbing, exfoliating, and sanding, they are officially free of mud. Now I just need to clean the bathtub!!!

Eight is GREAT!

Happy Birthday sweet daughter! June 17, 2001

Happy Birthday Emma! YEAH! Today was her 8th birthday. We went to a play called "Leo's Place" which is kind of like a "Chuck-e-Cheese". We went just as a family and she opened her gifts there. They played in a large jungle gym for a couple of hours! This is a picture of the view we had. Emma is behind the play at your own risk sign:)

Happy to open gifts! Brothers ready to help!

Our little monkey!

Driving a tractor...Chandler has the right idea!

She asked for a cheesecake! She had just a few friends over that evening to help eat it. Uncle Jonathan and Aunt Melissa came too!

Opening some gifts from friends! She had a wonderful day. She also bought a hamster with her birthday money! She has asked us countless times if she could get one, and we finally caved. She named him Creamsicle because its orange and white!

Here it goes!

I would have never in a million years thought of doing a blog. I never cared to try and have one. Maybe I have always thought of it as a waste of time. (I also know I can be behind the times!) It was until I read what a friend of mine wrote on her blog that made me think that maybe this would be a great idea. She had mentioned maybe using it as a journal and printing it from time to time! I thought that for me, who is bad a keeping a journal, this would be a great way to look back on our family! So this is the start of our family journal. I will try to copy this often and place it in a folder. I'm not sure how to do this, not at all sure how to put pictures up, or if I will be able to update it often, but I hope my children will be able to look back on this and have a great piece of family history. So here I go with modern technology! WooHoo!
