8 little monkeys sitting on a couch!

Today we invited some friends over for a play date. We made chocolate chip cookies(evidence on some of the faces you can see), watched Princess and the Frog, and had a dance party in the living room. When I came into the room where the kids were watching the movie, this is what I found....

I noticed Todd was missing. I think he knew with that many kids up on the one couch, there was no room for him. Todd was feeling a little left out and just wanted to do what the other kids were doing. This is where I found him.

At least he didn't feel left out anymore!

No pictures.

I'm finding out that I'm not really great at this blog thing unless I have pictures to post with it. Plus I'm not one with amazing writing skills. I should have Trevor write these things! Then our blog with be full of humor and wit! For now, it's just me.
Nothing new and exciting happening in the Moss house. We are looking forward to Spring and getting into the sunshine. Maybe start our first garden. The snow is starting to melt and we feel like the warmer weather is just around the corner.
The kids are doing well in school. Report cards just came out and I could not be more proud! Emma continues to excel at math and says she would like to be a pharmacist. Chandler is opening up more and has told us he has not one but two girlfriends! His teacher says that he will talk to her if she does not ask questions to him on the spot. Shy like his daddy. Todd is eager to start preschool. I find he gets bored at home being with just mom all day. He was recently potty trained and continues to tell me he is a big boy so he should go to school! I don't have the heart to tell him he won't start kindergarten for another two and a half years years! Hopefully he will get into the BYU-Idaho preschool this fall.
Well, I can officially say I posted now with no pictures! Phew, that was tough.

She likes Bananas!

Emma loves gymnastics! She is at a level 2 and progressing quite well. It has been a great confidence builder for her. We taped a bit of her last session and this is her climbing the rope to the top! She's our little monkey!

Todd turns THREE!!!

Todd Fielding Jan. 25th 2007
I can't believe how fast time goes by. My youngest just turned three. Seems like just a few days ago I was on bedrest at Grandpa Wanberg's home in Salt Lake. Seems like yesterday, Todd was born unexpectedly by c-section. His entrance into this life quite complicated, but he pulled through and I now find myself forgetting just how much this little guy has been through. Looking at him now, no one would ever know. I'm grateful to have Todd in my life. He brings so many smiles into our home. He has grown well, and his little brain works like a typical three year old. Two weeks before his birthday, he was potty trained! Good BYE diapers! He looks forward to going to preschool and can't wait to ride on a bus like his big brother and sister. We love you Todd and look forward to spending many more birthdays with you!
He asked for a "Race Car" cake.
Enjoying the pizza at Leo's Place.
Opening the gifts! He LOVES Transformers!
The ball was just in here a minute ago!
He had a wonderful day!

A LOT to cover in one post!

It's has been quite some time since our last post! My reasons range from no internet to lots and lots of family visiting! It's been a wonderful couple of months! To start where my last post left off...that would make it November 2009. Grandma Debi came out on November 14th to be here for when Jonathan and Melissa had their little girl. Mom made great timing since they had their baby girl, Lilly Sophia, on the 15th!! She weighed 5lbs 3oz. Even though Lilly came a little early, she is beautiful, healthy and strong! I was grateful to be able to be able to be there with mom at the hospital waiting for Lilly's arrival. It was a wonderful experience! I was just informed today by Jonathan, that Lilly is starting to get chunky baby rolls! That's my girl!
Thanksgiving came shortly after. Grandma Debi and Uncle Jesse came to help eat all the turkey! We had a nice quite Thanksgiving and lots of pie!
For Christmas, Tim and Jason flew out from Michigan to spend it with us! It was so wonderful to have everyone(including Jonathan and Melissa) here for Christmas morning! The kids loved the sleds that Santa brought and the boys(Jonathan and Trev) loved their guns(Bushmaster 450) they got from mom and Tim. I was surprised and excited when Mom and Tim got me an electric piano!! I have been playing it every day since! Chandler is now wanting to take piano lessons. We felt so blessed to be with so many of the one we love!
To bring in the new year, we had Michael and Tara(and fam) come and stay a couple of days with us! It was a very nice welcome to our full house! We had a little party and countdown, but had a hard time knowing when to actually start the countdown since we don't have television. We played games and ate lots and LOTS of food! The kids loved spending time with their cousins. Being with everyone just made us wish we could live closer to them. Grandma Debi stayed here for a couple of months and we wish she could have stayed longer. We were sad when everyone had to leave, and look forward to another visit hopefully very very very soon! :D
